Approachable and pragmatic, Harriet is highly organised and meticulous. She has a thorough knowledge of local police stations and courts – and uses this to formulate effective strategies for her clients.

Cases Harriet has worked on include defending a client who was alleged to provide an alibi for a murder for a criminal gang, an exploited child being used to run drugs across county lines; offences committed in cyber space; robbery, GBH and assault. She also assists clients who have been accused of committing road traffic offences.

Her calm, assured determination means that her clients know she will look at their case and find a way forward for them.

Harriet originally began her career in Business but was recognised by senior lawyers at Shentons as having the right aptitude to be a successful lawyer. Shentons have been delighted to support her law journey, as she is now a highly valued and sought after solicitor in criminal law as well as the Head of the Crime Department. She was made Partner in July 2022, after working her way up the ranks at Shentons over nearly 15 years.
