Are you a Property Lawyer looking for career progression?

We are a busy firm of Solicitors providing legal services in and around Winchester, and we are looking to add someone like you to join and ultimately run our Property Team.

What you will be doing?
  • Managing a mixed caseload of residential conveyancing
  • Providing support to the clients to move home with as little stress as possible
  • Following a probation period, stepping up to lead the Property Department to enable the existing Head to move into another role.
What skills and attributes do you need?
  • Leadership skills
  • Technical competence
  • Good communication
  • 6 to 8 years PQE
  • Commitment to teamwork
  • Knowledge of the local market would be an advantage but not essential
  • A developed network of contacts would be an advantage but not essential
  • Dedication to excellent service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

This is a leadership role and therefore is mostly office based although there would be some flexibility to work from home when appropriate

Shentons have a legal aid contract for family work and so experience in this type of work is desirable, but not essential. Any experience in mediation is also welcome.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
