Michelle and team at Shentons were brilliant at handling our property purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them. The quality of work and service was excellent, Michelle is on the ball and responsive to emails, she pushed the other side and made sure we were comfortable and informed at every step. Despite being thrown some curve balls Michelle remained calm, and dealt with all of them in an efficient but thorough manner. From quote to completion everything her and her team did was excellent, and in line with the estimate given which for first time buyers allowed us to budget without fear of massive final bill. It’s nice to know what you are getting into. And finally to top it off they are all lovely approachable people that I wouldn’t hesitate to trust with such a big purchase or sale going forward. If you want the job done properly I wouldn’t use any other firm.

Used as my duty on the day was amazing then so used them again on sentencing legal aid reject it they done everything to get my legal aid paid for me for the day and I walked out court very happy I had Felicity she’s was amazing will use again if I have 2 and would highly recommend if it had 10 stars I would put 10 stars no joke

Professional and helpful law firm. I visited Shenton’s office in early October 2017 as I had a problem with my former landlord, who broke the law and refused to give me my deposit back. My first appointment was with Ms Rachel Cole and her paralegal. Ms Cole is a kind, professional, humble and respectful person. She motivated me and valued my mental skills. Her paralegal is also a professional and kind person. All the documents I had provided Ms Cole and her paralegal with facilitated their work. Ms Cole’s paralegal sent the defendant a letter before action, but he denied any wrongdoing although evidence were clearly against him. Unfortunately, Shenton were not able to progress my case after the defendant denied responsibility because Legal Aid Agency stated that my case was suitable for no-win no-fee. Although some law firms state they offer no-win no-fee, in reality they don’t because they immediately want money. Fortunately, I managed to solve this problem without a solicitor. I sent this despicable person a letter before action and he decided to ignore me. After contacting CCMCC, he decided to return me my deposit. I was also entitled to financial compensation as he caused me emotional distress, but I decided to accept his solicitor’s offer, which was my deposit only, in order to settle this matter amicably out of court. Additionally, it was not my intention to go to court since I am a peaceful person and hate legal disputes. It took me two years to solve this problem, but the most important thing is that justice was done. Although Shentons were not able to help me, it was a pleasure to meet Ms Cole and her paralegal. I value Ms Cole’s advice, humbleness and their work.
